What
Every Tuesday we host a vegan dinner with the intention of building a thriving creative community. Itβs a simple gathering, but it serves as the foundation for the School: bringing folks together to enjoy a meal while exchanging ideas, dreaming up projects, solving problems, telling stories, and having a good laugh. Each week one person volunteers to cook a simple lower-cost meal, and anyone who would like to attend may sign up online. Around 10 guests are encouraged to simply arrive, be fed, and show up in whatever way feels authentic for them. The guests for each dinner are different, making every dinner its own unique occurrence. We hope for the evening to nourish our creative community with food and thought.
When
Guests arrive at 7pm. We start informally serving ourselves and eating around 7:30. If you arrive after 7:30, food portions are not guaranteed. We start winding down around 9:30 pm to adhere to the 10pm house quiet hours.
Where
We host in a house near SE 34th & SE Belmont, Portland, Oregon, United States. Masks are welcome but not required. Details on how to get to the space will be provided upon sign-up.
πΒ There is a cat in the house! Friendly and chill, but not hypo-allergenic! π
