About the School of Art and Time

For those who might be new here, let me tell you a bit about The School. We're radically reimagining what "school" can be.

• "School" 🏫 - For us, school is a liberatory space where we learn with and from each other. We're rooted in critical pedagogy and free school traditions, creating a learning environment that values curiosity, non-conformity, mutual respect, and collective growth.
• "Art" 🎨 - We see art as a collective practice that belongs to everyone, not a product reserved for a select few. Art is how we explore, express, expand, and experiment with what's possible. We're interested in creative solutions for living.
• "Time" ⏳ - Time is a construct, and we can choose to engage with it creatively. Rather than being confined by capitalist notions of productivity, we can reshape our understanding of time in ways that better serve us as individuals and community.

The School is both a physical space and a concept - a community, an exploration, an experiment that can be replicated anywhere.

Our Programming

We have several ongoing programs here at The School:
