What

The upcoming field trip is to see the Portland Center Stage production of LITTLE WOMEN based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott.

When you sign up, your sliding-scale donation includes a ticket to the show. Tickets pre-purchased by the School are limited, so if you cannot attend please cancel on the confirmation email so that another participant can reserve a ticket.

When

Sunday, November 16, 2025.

If you plan to transit from SE Portland, please meet at 6:30pm at the Trimet Line 15 bus stop at SE 34th St/SE Belmont. If you are running late, please take the next bus or sort your own transportation downtown, as the group will not wait for all participants before boarding the bus scheduled for 6:38pm.

Participants will meet at Portland Center Stage’s Will Call to distribute tickets at 7:10pm for the 7:30pm show.

Where

If you plan to transit from SE Portland, please meet at 6:30pm at the Trimet Line 15 bus stop at SE 34th St/SE Belmont heading towards Portland City Center. The bus stop is in front of the Belmont Inn.

If you plan to independently transit to Portland Center Stage at the Armory, please meet the group at Portland Center Stage Will Call, at 128 NW 11th Ave, Portland, OR. Participants will meet at Will Call to distribute tickets at 7:10pm for the 7:30pm show.

For education and leisure in an environment different from what the School can access on a regular basis.

How

Sign up by November 15 and contribute a sliding scale donation to the School (no one turned away for lack of funds). If you have questions about the upcoming field trip, please email Jenny N (jennymng5@gmail.com). If you would like to purchase your own ticket and meet up with our group, just reach out to coordinate.

If you would like to lead a field trip, please attend an upcoming Organizing Meeting with a brief proposal and potential logistics. Field trips are not designed for participants to travel more than 2 hours outside of central Portland, though we will consider a proposal if you have a strategy to make the field trip accessible for participants.
